“And all at one, summer collapsed into fall.”

It’s not merely the change of weather making up a shift in seasons. It is also the change in routine.
Sweaters get layered over our blouses, ankle boots start making an appearance into the daily rotation while your sandals that have put up the good fight through the season are left in the corner. Mornings get darker and colder, making leaving the embrace of your bed just that much harder. Which leads us to reconnecting with our best fall friend – coffee.

For the most of August I had eschewed coffee. My body had felt like it was rejecting it so I switched to tea and lemon water. I believe I made it one week into September before I caved. Living on a street that puts good coffee at my fingertips did not help. My favourite South Granville coffee shop is surprisingly West Elm Market. I was not expecting much from this branch of major retailer but gave it a try because they offered my preferred almond milk option. I've been hooked ever since. If you’re one of the girls that counted the days till Starbucks brought back their Pumpkin Spice Latte, and then were discouraged by this info graphic, Market offers a PSL made with no syrup, only a homemade blend of spices. Or you can go for my preferred option - a simple almond milk latte.

This post was in no way sponsored by West Elm Market, I just really like my coffee.
